D-SIM-42 NG Twin Star FNPT II
New Generation
An exact copy of the advanced
Diamond DA42 Twin Star aircraft. All aircraft systems and aerodynamics are
exactly simulated. The D-SIM-42 features an original Garmin G1000
integrated glass flight deck. It allows the student to schedule his
training perfectly, without delays, weather
problems, or other restrictions, 24 hours, 7 days a week.
"NG" stands for "New
Generation". The RealView® visual system sets a standard normally only
available in simulators for large transport aircraft. The D-SIM-42 NG is the most advanced
training tool of its kind, equipped with the GFC700 Automated Flight
Control System AFCS.
An instructor station with enhanced handling characteristics allows
realistic, focused training and leads to faster progress
The D-SIM-42 is certified as
FNPT II according to JAR-FSTD A. 40 hours of the training towards
the
instrument rating (IR) may be conducted in the simulator.
